What is Ulthera Prime, and how does it differ from injections?
Program Ulthera Prime uses Ultherapy PRIME technology: microfocused ultrasound with visualization (MFU-V). Focused ultrasound and real-time tissue imaging help guide treatment depth and location. This differs from Filler, which restores volume, and is not a surgical facelift.
Line count is not an age formula
Treatment area, laxity, facial structure and previous procedures need to be considered together.

What does real-time imaging add?
Ulthera Prime combines focused ultrasound with imaging of tissue beneath the skin. The physician uses that view to guide placement; it is not a preview of your final result. Ask how the proposed plan relates to your own anatomy, rather than comparing device names alone.

How many Ulthera Prime Lines do I need?
A treatment line delivers a sequence of focused ultrasound points. Its count describes part of the treatment plan, not the amount of lift you will obtain. Ask the physician to explain the planned coverage before choosing between 300, 400, 500 or 600 Lines.
Define the area
Ask which areas are included, which are excluded and how the Lines will be distributed. A package name alone does not define full-face coverage.
Agree on realistic goals
Describe the change you hope to see and ask what the treatment cannot address. Request the reason for the recommended package, including why a different approach might suit your concern better.

Ulthera, Ultherapy PRIME and SPT: what do the names mean?
The names can be confusing when comparing clinics. On this page, Ulthera Prime is the service name; the manufacturer's platform name is Ultherapy PRIME. Separating the device from the planning approach helps you ask for the right information.
What changed with PRIME?
Merz describes PRIME as an evolution of Ultherapy, with a larger display, updated imaging and operating system. These are platform improvements, not a guarantee of a stronger lift or less pain for every patient.

SPT is a planning approach
SPT stands for See, Plan, Treat: a manufacturer-described customization technique for Ultherapy. The term alone does not identify which device platform a clinic uses. Ask for the model and the individual plan together.
What do 1.5, 3.0 and 4.5 mm mean?
The device has transducers with focal depths of 1.5, 3.0 and 4.5 mm. These are depth specifications, not strength ratings. Tissue layers vary by area and person, so imaging and clinical assessment guide the choice; deeper is not automatically better.
What can Ulthera Prime help with, and in which areas?
Ultherapy manufacturer information describes lifting the brow and lax tissue under the chin and on the neck, plus improving upper-chest lines. The examples below explain different goals; they are not the list of areas included in Hori Clinic packages.
Brow concerns
Discuss the position of the brow and what change you expect. A brow-lifting discussion is not a promise to correct every cause of eyelid drooping or replace eyelid surgery.
Under the chin and neck
Ask whether loose skin is the main concern. A fuller-looking lower face does not by itself tell you which procedure is appropriate; a lifting package should not be assumed to be a fat-removal package.
Upper-chest skin
The concern here is the appearance of skin lines, not breast size or breast lifting. Ask the clinic separately whether it offers assessment for this area and how it is priced.
Manufacturer indications differ between countries. They do not establish Thai registration for the clinic's device or guarantee that every listed area is offered at Hori Clinic. Confirm the actual treatment area before paying.

Who may be suitable, and when should you postpone or consider alternatives?
It may be an option for adults with lax skin seeking a nonsurgical approach, but an in-person assessment is needed. Significant laxity or expectations of surgical-level change warrant discussion of alternatives; do not expect a result equivalent to surgery.
What to disclose before treatment
Medical conditions, medicines, pregnancy or breastfeeding, implanted devices and previous Filler, threads or surgery, including treatment areas and dates.
Contraindications to screen for
Open wounds or lesions, severe acne in the treatment area, active implants and metallic implants in the treatment area require assessment against the device contraindications.
Limits of the evidence
Manufacturer evidence does not cover every group, including pregnant or breastfeeding patients and those using anticoagulants. Do not assess your own safety from online information.
Does it hurt, and what are the risks?
Treatment may cause pain or discomfort. Redness, swelling, tenderness, bruising or numbness can occur afterward. Nerve effects such as temporary muscle weakness, burns and scarring are possible. Painless treatment or zero downtime cannot be promised.
Contact the clinic or seek medical assessment for worsening pain, blisters, wounds, muscle weakness or symptoms affecting daily life. Do not simply wait for these to resolve without assessment.

When do Ulthera Prime results appear, and how long can they last?
Merz Aesthetics describes changes that may appear after 2–3 months and may last up to 12 months. These are manufacturer reference periods, not a deadline or promise for your treatment. The degree of change and its duration vary.

Agree on the main concern and how it will be reviewed. If you consent to clinical photographs, use comparable lighting, angles and expressions for follow-up; an advertising image is not a personal forecast.
Early recovery: assess symptoms separately
Do not judge the final result from a photograph taken immediately after treatment, especially if swelling is present. Keep the clinic's contact details and follow the symptom advice given for your plan.
Follow-up: review before repeating
Ask when to return for review and what would lead the physician to change the plan. Do not schedule additional treatment simply because an online timeline has passed or another person's photos look different.
How should I prepare and plan aftercare?
Prepare a list of medicines and previous procedures for the consultation. Do not stop prescribed medicines on your own. Before leaving, ask for aftercare instructions suited to your skin, symptoms and daily activities.
- Skincare: confirm which cleansers, moisturisers and sun protection to use, and when to restart potentially irritating products.
- Daily plans: discuss exercise, heat exposure, makeup and upcoming events with the physician. Do not assume the same restrictions or recovery time apply to everyone.
- Follow-up access: confirm whom to contact if symptoms worsen, how a review is arranged and whether you need to remain nearby before travelling.

Are 300 Lines enough for the full face?
Line count alone cannot answer this. The treatment area, laxity and treatment plan matter. The 300 Lines package does not promise full-face coverage for everyone.
When might I notice a change?
Change develops gradually; it is not permanent and there is no guaranteed day for results. Manufacturer information describes effects lasting up to about 12 months in some people, but extent and duration vary. Follow your physician's review plan.
Can it replace Filler or facelift surgery?
Not directly. Ulthera Prime uses ultrasound, Filler addresses volume and surgery has a different role. A physician needs to assess the cause of your concern before recommending an approach.
Are there verified Ulthera Prime cases or before-and-after photographs?

No. Discomfort and after-effects are possible. Discuss comfort measures and your schedule before booking; do not rely on a promise of painless treatment or no downtime.
How long should I allow for an appointment?
Ask the clinic to confirm the total time for assessment, preparation, treatment and aftercare instructions. The package price and line count do not specify a fixed appointment duration.
Can I combine it with Filler, Botox or RF?
Discuss your previous and planned procedures with the physician, including their dates and areas. This page does not prescribe a universal order, waiting period or same-day combination.
How can I check the device before deciding?
Ask the clinic to show the model name and relevant device and transducer documents, and confirm who will assess and treat you. A promotional image or a manufacturer link alone does not verify the device used at the clinic.
